Where is your website going to be hosted?
This is the first consideration. We can set up the website hosting for you or you may already have purchased web space elsewhere. Either way, once created, we can install your website anywhere. See our pricing page for more information on hosting fees.
Choosing a domain name
This is the text name which links to your website i.e. yourname.com. You may already have purchased a domain name, if not you can check which names are available by using one of the many domain searches.We can arrange the purchase of your domain for you and make sure it is linked to your website. See our pricing page for information about domain fees.
Asking us for a quote Before we can provide a quote for you we will need to know your requirements and an outline of the type of site you envisage. Typically we will need to know: the type of business the website will be promoting, the anticipated number pages, whether additional features such as feedback forms are required, and whether or not you have any design preferences (for example do you have a logo or existing branding? Are there existing websites that contain the type of elements you want included?). This information can be emailed to us but it's often easier to discuss over the telephone. Setting up the site / initial design
If you are happy with the quote we will then set up your hosting account and domain (if required) and produce an initial design which can be viewed online. At this point the layout, colours, navigation, appearance of text etc. will all be agreed. Once you are happy we will then build the rest of the site. Progress can be viewed at any time by you. Once complete the site will then be tranferred to your hosting account.
